6th Spray of Christmas

Updated: Aug 27, 2022

“On the 6th Spray of Christmas, my aromatherapist made for me…” Today is Day 6!

Soothing Spray

This is the half way point of the 12 Sprays of Christmas! I hope you are all enjoying the sprays.

This is a great spray for rashes, cuts, bug bites, and even after possible contact with poison ivy/poison oak.

It is also great for after sun body care for things such as sunburns.

It’s safe for all ages too, and yes…even babies! This is especially great for kids because there are not a lot of non-toxic options.

Lemon balm hydrosol is antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. This hydrosol has a longer shelf life than most hydrosols, which is 12 to 20 months.

Lemon balm hydrosol is very stable and lasts at least two years or more.

I just need to add, the plant lemon balm smells amazing! It is one of my favorite plant smells.

Lavender hydrosol is anti-inflammatory and very calming to the skin. This is great for every skin type due to its balancing pH nature.

Lavender hydrosol is a great hydrosol to add to unscented products without altering the intended properties of those products.

The type of aloe in this spray is really up to you. Depending on the aloe gel you use, it may be too thick to spray.

For example, using an aloe gelly/jelly, this would be too thick. But for regular aloe gel, I personally found the hydrosols thin it out perfectly for you to use the spray bottle.

I also like using aloe juice which is thinner. This option, you may not find not as soothing, but it still works.

Here is all you need

Mix together and use as needed for the affected areas.

Comment below if you end up making this! I would love to know what you thought of it.

Thank you for reading!

Love and Nature,

Nicole
