This lotion bar is nourishing and warming. The smell is a nice spicy citrus smell that reminds me of fall.
~The bees wax used is from a local farm here in Black Forest, Colorado.
Directions: Rub the lotion bar between hands to get the needed amount. Put the bar back in the tin and work the lotion into your skin. Use as needed to support dry skin.
Ingredients:
- Regular Ingredients: *Helianthus annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, *Cera alba (Colorado Bees Wax), *Pentadesma butyracea (Kpangnan) Seed Butter, *Citrus sinensis (Orange) Essential Oil, *Eugenia caryophyllata (Clove bud) Essential Oil.
- Vegan Ingredients: *Helianthus annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, *Euphorbia Cerifera (candelilla) wax), *Pentadesma butyracea (Kpangnan) Seed Butter, *Citrus sinensis (Orange) Essential Oil, *Eugenia caryophyllata (Clove bud) Essential Oil.

Safety: Safe for kids ages 2 and older. Pregnancy & Breastfeeding safe. If skin irritating, discontinue. Avoid using on very damaged and sensitive skin due to the clove. The clove is well under the max dermal level.
Additional Safety: According to The Essential Oil Safety book by Tisserand and Young, clove may inhibit blood clotting. The amounts are well under the topical max and the amount of clove is very small to get the aroma I was looking for. The inhibition of blood clotting means, if you are on anticoagulants (such as asprin), recently had surgery, or about to have surgery within a few weeks, it is not recommended to use this essential oil until you are cleared by your doctor. I feel this lotion bar is very safe with the amount of clove that is used in this product. But this is a call that you need to make, I am just putting this information out there so you can make an informed decision.
