Thank you for your interest in my homemade hand sanitizer!  Unfortunately, there is never a guarantee, that despite all your efforts, you won’t come down with any illness caused by a virus…but this is a great first step to help with keeping your hands clean!
 
As with all of Wicked Good Scentz handmade products, our hand sanitizer is made entirely from scratch. I never use a “base” or a re-packaged product from another source.  What is the fun in that?
 
This sanitizer is not as thick as what you may be used to, since it is made with Aloe Vera juice vs Aloe Vera gel.  Here is some information on a few of the ingredients I used to enhance my hand sanitizer.
 
Organic Castor Oil: This is an emollient and a humectant.  Emollients help soothe and soften the skin while a humectant helps retain moisture in the skin.  Both are great for this hand sanitizer where the alcohol content is high and can be drying.
Organic Rosemary Extract:  Not only slows oxidation but can help soothe the skin due to it being blended in olive oil.  Olive oil also makes a great natural cleaner.
Non-GMO Vitamin E Oil:  Helps support cell function and skin health. It is also an antioxidant which makes it effective in combating free radicals produced by toxins found in the environment.
 
No harmful chemicals! This almost completely organic quick-drying formula contains no sulfates, parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrances, dyes, artificial colors, or fillers.  Hand sanitizers do not take the place of soap and water and should only be used only when soap and water is not available.
 
Directions:  Shake a little before each use.  Use as needed.  Spray on your hands and rub in until dry.  1-2 sprays go a long way.  This can also be used on clothing, such as the bottoms of shoes after being outside.
 
Ingredients: 60% Everclear, *Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, *Ricinus communis (Castor) Seed Oil, *Lavandula x intermedia (Lavandin) Hydrosol, **Vitamin E Oil, *Rosemary CO2 extract, Olea europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, *Citrus limon (Steam Distilled Lemon) Essential Oil, *Lavandula angustifolia (Lavender) Essential Oil, *Melaleuca alternifolia (Tea tree) Essential Oil, *Eucalyptus Radiata (Eucalyptus) Essential Oil.

Safety:  Avoid during Pregnancy & Breastfeeding due to the alcohol content in this product.  Due to the eucalyptus essential oil, use caution when using it on children under 10 years old.  If you are going to use this on children under 10 years old, keep the spray away from the face.  For children under age 5, spray it on your hands first, rub your hands together then apply it to their hands.  Children do not need as much that is coming out of the bottle.
 
Due to the high amount of alcohol content, this can be drying for children and they may not like the feeling.  Keep all sanitizers out of the reach and away from children, away from the face, away from heat, and this is for external use only.  Most importantly, do not use it on open skin wounds.
