Our lip balm is a great to have in multiple places in the house.
I even leave one in the car! BUT, if you leave it in your car, just be aware it may shorten the shelf life of the product. It could also go rancid earlier than projected due to high heat. If the scent smells off, then it probably is.
Avocado Lime...This one is a fan favorite!
I came up with this little gem, because avocado is just a great oil all around for any skin type. It is especially great for dehydrated and/mature or fragile type skin. Avocado oil is skin penetrating, promotes cell regenerating so it is great for chapped lips. It is also a wonderful emollient for the skin.
The lime essential oil I use is steam distilled. So that means it is not phototoxic. There are thresholds in the cold pressed citrus oils that can be safe to use in lip balm. Lime has a low threshold where it does become phototoxic, so I avoid the cold pressed lime.
This lip balm comes in Regular, Vegan, and Custom. Email me for a custom order due to allergies because of an ingredient.
