2nd Spray of Christmas

Updated: Aug 27, 2022

“On the 2nd Spray of Christmas, my aromatherapist made for me…” Today is Day 2!

Facial Toner

This is my go-to! I love making this for myself every 2 months. Not only does it smell great, but I feel it makes my skin glow!

Rose hydrosol is skin balancing for all types.

The reason for that is due to the many attributes of rose hydrosol.

Rose hydrosol is astringent so it can be useful for acne, and oily skin. Then at the opposite side of the skins spectrum rosy hydrosol is also great for normal to-dry, mature, and sensitive.

So you can see why this is my go-to for a facial toner.

But there is more! Rose hydrosol has a strong affinity with the heart, useful for individuals who are grieving or are in need of emotional support, and heartache due to its calming and soothing nature. This is also a great hydrosol to have on hand for extra support for women going through menopause symptoms. Rose hydrosol is great to use as a body spray for hot flashes, and plus it smells great!

I love using this facial toner after cleansing my face. This is another simple spray that includes hydrosols which can add value to your skin’s hydration.

Here is all you need

2 oz Spray Bottle

1 oz Rose (Rosa damascena) Hydrosol

1 oz Distilled Water

Mix together in your 2 oz bottle and spray all over your face and neck.

*You can just use the full 2 oz of hydrosol, but I do like to dilute mine. Use as needed.

I would love to hear what you thought about this facial toner. Comment below and tell me if you got a chance to make this facial toner.

*If the hydrosol in the link is sold out, this is another Rose Hydrosol I love to use.

Thank you for reading!

Love and Nature,

Nicole
